BLOOD HAD TO BE APPLIED! The lamb had
to be a young male lamb without any disease or abnormalities. The lamb had to be
killed and the blood
collected so it could be applied to the
doorposts of the home.
This was the ONLY way of escape for the firstborn amongst both
